Over a decade of building careers and a life on my own terms — as a virtual assistant, a digital marketer, a yoga teacher, an aerialist, and everything in between. Here's the full story.
My Journey
I didn't take a straight path and I wouldn't trade it. Here's a look at how it all started and where it's going.
The Beginning
I started freelancing because I needed flexibility — but I stayed because I was genuinely good at it. My first clients needed someone to keep things organized, answer emails, and make sure nothing slipped through the cracks. I showed up with that and then some. Word spread, referrals came in, and what started as a side arrangement became a full career.
Going Deeper
One of my early clients needed help with more than admin — they needed someone to manage their online presence, write content, and eventually run their email campaigns. I leaned in hard. I taught myself SEO, got comfortable with Google Analytics, SEMrush, and eventually started managing full content strategies. What started as a bonus skill became one of my strongest offerings. I've since managed social media, built funnels, run email campaigns, and handled everything from keyword research to on-page optimization.
Leveling Up
Over the years I've supported CEOs directly, managed teams, onboarded clients, and become the kind of VA that clients don't just keep — they protect. I've worked across industries including real estate, professional services, tech, and more. I bring a business owner's mindset to every role I support, because I've been building something of my own the whole time.
Now
Today I'm channeling everything I've learned into Metis Ops — my VA and digital marketing agency. I'm also creating digital products, building my personal brand, and carving out space for the rest of who I am. This website is part of that. Welcome to it.

Where I Thrive
I work best when I'm trusted, given context, and treated like a partner. The best setups are the ones where I know what the goals are and can take initiative to get there.
I'm based in Cebu, Philippines, and I've built my whole career around remote work. Clear communication, documented processes, and mutual respect go a long way.
If there's chaos, I get calm. I'm the person who makes the SOP when there isn't one yet, and who asks the clarifying question before spending two days on the wrong thing.
I don't do my best work in short bursts. I invest in understanding a business deeply — the voice, the gaps, the goals — and I deliver more the longer we work together.
Work & Life
I won't pretend I have it perfectly figured out. But I've built a life where my work and my personal world aren't at war with each other. I teach yoga. I train aerial arts — pole, hoop, and hammock. I read tarot, make crystal bracelets, write stories, and am exploring metal jewelry making.
These aren't hobbies I squeeze in between meetings. They're how I stay grounded, creative, and genuinely good at the things I get paid for. A clear mind, a moved body, and a sense of purpose outside of work makes me a better VA, a better marketer, and an all-around better person to work with.
